About MINIMAD
Our History
Born from a passion for motorsport and driven by the desire to share that passion with as many enthusiasts as possible, we design, manufacture, and distribute collectible model cars. All Spark models are produced in our own factories in China and Madagascar. Since the brand was founded in 2000, Hugo Ripert chose China for its long-standing industrial expertise and its ability to ensure highly precise, semi-handcrafted production. Our Chinese production sites are located in Zhongshan and Hunan. In 2015, production was expanded to Madagascar. There, our models benefit from the recognized manual dexterity and attention to detail of our teams, combined with a responsible and sustainable manufacturing approach. Our Malagasy factory was built on individualized training for each profession. Over time, we have structured and developed new departments to gain greater autonomy and fully master every stage of the process, from design to manufacturing. The move into our new factory in 2025 marks a major milestone in our development and significantly strengthens our long-term presence in Madagascar. Our commitment to excellence and our passion for detail make us a trusted partner for collectors around the world. We are ready to take on new challenges and further strengthen our competitiveness in the international market.
